Silvia Sgherri has been working at the International Monetary Fund for almost 20 years in various capacities and departments. Former lead evaluator at the IMF’s Independent Evaluation Office, senior economist at the European Central Bank's DG-Research, and research fellow at the ESRC Macroeconomic Modelling Bureau and De Nederlandsche Bank, her interests and publications focus on topics related to international macro and finance, monetary and fiscal policy. Silvia holds a M.Sc. and a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Warwick and a Ph.D. in economics and management from the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies.
