Stefan Felder is Professor for Health Economics at the Economics Department of the University of Basle, Switzerland, and Director of the health economics research centre (CINCH) at the University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany. He is Secretary General of the German Health Economics Association (dggö), and also currently Chairman of the Research Committee on Health Economics of the Verein für Socialpolitik. His research interests are population ageing and health care expenditure, discrete choice ex¬periments, and experimental economics in health care. His work has been published in the Journal of Health Economics, Health Economics, and the Journal of Population Economics, among others.
