Yves is an esteemed Research Economist, currently contributing his expertise to the Research Centre of the Deutsche Bundesbank. His career has taken him across major global institutions, with roles held at the Research Department of the Inter-American Development Bank, the Directorate General Macro-Prudential Policy and Financial Stability at the European Central Bank (ECB), and the Research Department at the ECB. Yves holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Konstanz, during which he participated in the renowned Swiss Program for Beginning Doctoral Students in Economics. Specializing in the field of macro-finance, his contributions have been acknowledged internationally, with his work featured in prestigious journals such as the Journal of International Economics, Journal of International Money and Finance, and the Journal of Banking and Finance.
