Ana P. Fernandes is an Associate Professor at the University of Lisbon. Prior to joining the ISEG School of Economics & Management she was a Senior Lecturer in Economics at the University of Exeter. Her research interests include the determinants of firm performance in export markets, and the consequences of globalization, deregulation and economic shocks for firms’ and workers’ outcomes. She has published in scholarly journals such as the Journal of International Economics, Journal of Development Economics, Journal of Human Resources, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization and International Journal of Industrial Organization. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Essex.
