Andreas Roider's research focuses on organisational economics and behavioural economics. It includes applications to the theory of the firm, finance, industrial organisation and law and economics.
Roider graduated from University of Bonn and received a PhD in Economics from the European Doctoral Program in Quantitative Economics (Bonn and LSE). He was Professor of Economics at the University of Heidelberg in 2008-2012, and in 2012 joined the Department of Economics at the University of Regensburg as Professor of Economics.
His publications have appeared in the American Economic Review, the Rand Journal of Economics, Management Science and the European Economic Review, among others.
