Lydia Mechtenberg

Lydia Mechtenberg’s research focuses on public economics and organisational economics, involving both theory and experimental methods. It includes applications to political economics and law and economics. Lydia Mechtenberg graduated from the Free University of Berlin. She received a PhD in Philosophy from the Johannes-Gutenberg University in Mainz and a PhD in Economics from the Technical University of Berlin. Since 2012, she is Professor of Economics at the University of Hamburg. Her publications have appeared in the Review of Economic Studies, Games and Economic Behavior and Management Science, among others.
