Andrew J Scott is Director of Economics at the Ellison-Institute of Technology-Oxford, Professor of Economics at London Business School and a Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research. He also leads the CEPR Research Policy Network on the Economics of Longevity and Ageing, the subject of his research which is widely published in leading journals in economics and health. His books, The 100-Year Life and The Longevity Imperative, were both shortlisted for the FT Business Book of the Year Award. He was Managing Editor for the Royal Economic Society’s Economic Journal and Non-Executive Director for the UK’s Financial Services Authority 2009-2013. He has been an advisor on policy to a range of governments. Andrew previously held positions at Oxford University, London School of Economics and Harvard University. His MA is from Oxford, his M.Sc. from the London School of Economics and his D.Phil from Oxford University.
