Björn Richter is an Assistant Professor in Finance at Universitat Pompeu Fabra and an Affiliated Professor at the Barcelona School of Economics. Previously, he worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Macrohistory Lab, University of Bonn. His main research interests are in financial economics, with an emphasis on banking and financial history. He received his PhD in 2015 from Goethe University Frankfurt.
