Bram Wouterse is an Associate Professor at the Erasmus School of Health Policy & Management. He is a health economist focusing on health care spending growth and population ageing, long term care, inequalities in health and health care use, and costs and benefits of prevention. He has published in journals like the Journal of Health Economics, the Journal of Risk and Insurance, the Journal of Economic Behaviour and Organisation, PNAS, the International Journal of Epidemiology, and the Lancet Healthy Longevity. He has contributed to policy research for the Dutch Ministry of Health, the European Commission, the OECD and the WHO, and the NBER. He is the chair of the Dutch Health Economics Association and regularly contributes to the debate on public health policy in the Netherlands.
