Fabiano Schivardi

Fabiano Schivardi is professor of economics at LUISS University in Rome and a reasearch fellow at EIEF and CEPR. His main areas of interest are industrial organisation and applied microeconomics, with a special reference to productivity and industry dynamics. After obtaining his PhD in Economics at Stanford University in 1998, he worked at the research department of the Bank of Italy until 2006, where he was the Head of the Structural Analysis unit since 2004. He held the Rodolfo Debenedetti Chair in Entrepreneurship at Bocconi University in 2014-3027. He has been Visiting Scholar at Harvard University. His work has been published in leading academic journals. He also writes on the online economics journal lavoce.info.
