Galo Nuño is an Economist at the International Policy Analysis Division of the European Central Bank (ECB). His prior professional experience includes work at the Bank of Spain, the research department of BBVA and The Boston Consulting Group. His research interests include monetary policy, commodities, economic history of financial crises and computational methods. His work has been published in a number of leading academic journals. He received a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and a MSc in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University.
