João Madeira has a PhD in Economics from Boston University. He works at present at the department of economics and business research unit (BRU) of ISCTE-IUL. João published substantial work in business cycle fluctuations and the role of labour market rigidities. His current work focuses on understanding inflation expectations and how disagreement in monetary policy committees arises and impacts the economy.
