Her latest research is concerned with the role of banks in the transformation to a net-zero economy. Her work has been published, among others, in the Review of Finance, the Journal of Money, Credit, and Banking and the Journal of Financial Intermediation. She graduated from the University of Heidelberg. Prior to joining ZEW she was an Assistant Professor of Finance at Aalto University in Helsinki.
