Martin Brown is Professor of Banking at the University of St. Gallen. His research is focused on financial intermediation, household finance and organisational economics and has been published in Econometrica, Economic Journal, Journal of the European Economic Association, Management Science, Review of Finance, Journal of Financial Intermediation, Journal of Money, Credit and Banking and Economic Policy. He graduated from the University of Zurich. Prior to joining the University of St. Gallen he was a research economist at the Swiss National Bank and an Associate Professor of Finance at Tilburg University.
