Nicolas Lacetera

Associate Professor at University Of Toronto

Nicola Lacetera is Associate Professor at the Institute for Management and Innovation of the University of Toronto, with cross appointments to the Rotman School of Management and the Department of Economics. He is also a Research Associate at National Bureau of Economic Research, and a research Fellow at CESifo, Behavioural Economics in Action @ Rotman, and at the Canadian Centre for Health Economics. He previously was in the faculty of the Department of Economics of Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, Ohio). He holds a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BA from Bocconi University in Milano, Italy. His research interests include the study of ethical constraints to markets, the motivations for altruistic behavior, and various topics in industrial and innovation economics.
