Vestal McIntyre

Vestal McIntyre is a social science writer and Communications Director at the Yale Economic Growth Center. In the past he has written and edited for J-PAL, Harvard Kennedy School, Princeton, and Paris School of Economics. As a fiction writer, he is the author of the story collection You Are Not the One and the novel Lake Overturn, which was named Editors’ Choice by the New York Times Book Review and a Washington Post Best Book of 2009, and won the Grub Street National Book Prize and a Lambda Literary Award. He has taught creative writing at University of Northampton in the UK and has been awarded fellowships by the National Endowment for the Arts and the New York Foundation for the Arts.
