Fabio Panetta is a Member of the Executive Board of the European Central Bank. He is former Director General of Bank of Italy and President of the Institute for the Supervision of Insurance (IVASS).He holds a Ph.D. in Finance from London Business School.
His research work has been published in numerous journals, including The American Economic Review; The Journal of Finance; The Journal of Money, Credit and Banking; The European Economic Review.
