In this session of the International Macro History Online Seminar, join us for a presentation on "Taxation in Africa from Colonial Times to the Present. Evidence from Former French Colonies 1900-2018" by Denis Cogneau (Paris School of Economics), Yannick Dupraz (French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS)), Justine Knebelmann (MIT) and Sandrine Mesplé-Somps (Paris School of Economics).

The seminar will be moderated by Marlous van Waijenburg, Assistant Professor of Business Administration at Harvard.

The International Macro History Online Seminar series is jointly organised by the Graduate Institute's Centre for Finance and Development and a consortium of numerous other universities and institutions from around the world. It brings macroeconomic history topics to an interested public on a weekly basis.
