Stephen Hansen is Associate Professor of Economics at Imperial College Business School. He has served as an academic consultant to the Bank of England, and has recently held fellowships at the Hoover Institute and Alan Turing Institute.  He is currently a Fellow of the Centre for Economic Policy Research and CESifo, where he also serves on the Scientific Advisory Board.  His research interests combine monetary policy, organizational economics, and machine learning.  His academic papers have been published in leading international journals, including the Quarterly Journal of Economics, Review of Economic Studies, Journal of Monetary Economics, and Journal of International Economics.
